THE battle for second position in the Women’s A-Grade competition heated up on Saturday at Beatty Park with Triton claiming a thrilling 9-8 victory over the Melville Marlins.

WITH the race for finals positions heating up in the Men’s A-Grade competition, there were big Round 8 wins on Saturday for the Port Colts and Triton while South Fremantle Bloods just remained undefeated while it was a tight win too for UWA Flotsam.

APPLECROSS was able to maintain its undefeated season in the Women’s A-Grade competition with a win over Triton in Round 8 on Saturday while it was a draw between the Melville Marlins and UWA City Beach.
