Expression of Interest – Whole of Sport Working Committee

Water Polo Western Australia is undertaking a comprehensive Whole of Sport organisational review aimed at supporting the future growth, sustainability and ongoing success of water polo across Western Australia.

To support this process, WPWA will establish a Whole of Sport Working Committee to work alongside the appointed consultant, the WPWA Chair and the WPWA CEO.

There are 4 positions available on the Working Committee.

The 2026 AWL season is underway, as our four Western Australian teams head to Sydney to compete in the first round.

AWL brings together Olympians, international athletes, national squad members and the next generation of Australian water polo talent in Australia’s highest level of domestic water polo competition.

Melville dominate in the Grand Finals of the Perth Water Polo League

The 2024 Perth Water Polo League wrapped up over the weekend at Bicton Pool and it was Melville Water Polo Club that came away with the flag in both the Men’s and Women’s competition. 

The Melville Marlins defeated the UWA Diamonds (10-6) to claim the Women’s Perth WPL Premiership before the Melville Sharks took to the pool to triumph over the Melville Saints (10-4) to take out the Men’s title.

Western Australian athletes named in Water Polo Australia 2025 NAGP Squads

Following Western Australia’s involvement in the 2024 National State Championships in Queensland, 13 athletes from across both our 15&U and 17&U age groups have been announced as members of the provisional Water Polo Australia (WPA) National Age Group Program (NAGP) Squads.
