Water Polo WA is asking for Expressions of Interest for coaches for the upcoming National State Championships (NSC).

The Championships, which will be held in Melbourne from 29 September – 3 October 2026, will showcase the State’s best talent in the 15&U and 17&U age divisions across both boys and girls.

Aussie Sharks and Fremantle Mariners player, Sam Nangle, took home Senior Player of the Year, following a stellar season, including an impressive 36 goals across the AWL home and away season. Water Polo Western Australia (WPWA) has appointed Sports Advisory Partners Australia (SAPA) to lead its Whole of Sport review, following a competitive procurement and interview process.

Supported by the WA Government through the Strategic Initiatives Grants Program, the review will examine WPWA’s governance, pathways, competitions and long‑term sustainability, ensuring the sport is best positioned to grow at all levels. The interview panel includes WPWA CEO Natalie Butler, WPWA Chair Justin McMillan, WPWA Board Member Dani Woodhouse and SportWest CEO, Troy Kirkham.
