WPWAI Board-Nomination-Form-2026
Water Polo Western Australia Incorporated (WPWAI) is inviting nominations from Club/Association member individuals and other individuals to contribute to the growth and success of the organisation by joining the WPWAI Board as an Elected Director.
WPWAI is the governing, not-for-profit, state body supporting and furthering the sport of Water Polo in Western Australia; from grass roots to performance pathway programs.
The Board has identified the desired skills that are important to WPWAI’s strategic direction. While all nominations are welcome, individuals with experience in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:
Desired Skills:
- Financial literacy
- Stakeholder governance and communications
- Water polo system knowledge
- Club and association development
- Competitions and events
- High performance and pathways
- Technical development
- Regional sport
- Integrity
- Aquatic facilities and infrastructure
Desired Attributes
In addition to the skills above, nominees should ideally bring a combination of the following attributes:
- Director Experience and/or Corporate Governance
- Strategic Expertise
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Innovation and Change Implementation
- Familiarity with the Australian Sporting System
How to nominate:
- Complete the EOI Nomination Form.
- Submit your CV which should not exceed 2 x A4 pages.
- Send your completed Nomination Form and CV to the CEO at the email address and by the date and the time, each specified below.
