Water Polo Western Australia is pleased to present a Community Referee Guided Course for those looking to start their refereeing journey.

Appropriate for members with no prior refereeing experience, this event will include a variety of in-person and online modules and practical tasks, and will provide those who finish the course with an accreditation suitable for Flippaball, Schools, Year 4-6 competition and club matches.

Western Australian athletes named in Water Polo Australia 2025 NAGP Squads

Following Western Australia’s involvement in the 2024 National State Championships in Queensland, 13 athletes from across both our 15&U and 17&U age groups have been announced as members of the provisional Water Polo Australia (WPA) National Age Group Program (NAGP) Squads.

Made up of the most promising up-and-coming individuals from around Australia, the NAGP is designed to prepare athletes, coaches and referees for future Australian representative opportunities.

Regional Referee doing Western Australia proud on the National stage

While our teams were making waves at the Water Polo Australia National State Championships (NSC), Water Polo Western Australia is proud to have other representatives from our state involved in a variety of roles.  Liz Burman was a Delegate, Fiona Haigh, Manon Gebauer, Aimee Hagan were appointed referees and Isabelle Walls as the Tasmanian representative.
