Water Polo WA (Voluntary position)

An exciting opportunity has become available for individuals with relevant skills and experience to join the Water Polo WA Governance, Risk and Nominations Committee (GRNC).

The GRNC’s purpose is to assist the Board in managing Water Polo WA’s internal governance and risk management. Key functions of this committee are to ensure the organisation’s governance standards are maintained, including providing advice on conflicts of interest as they arise and reviewing relevant policies and procedures.

The GRNC play a key role in managing Board nominations, reviewing Board composition, and ensuring the Water Polo WA Board has the appropriate skills, knowledge, experience, independence and diversity to assist in the achievement of the organisation’s vision and goals. This GRNC plays a critical role in reviewing the Water Polo WA Risk Management Framework and ensuring risks are identified and managed appropriately.

Expressions of interest (EOI) are being sought from suitable applicants who have a high level of understanding and interpretation of governance and risk management.

As part of your application, you will need to attach a completed EOI form and your curriculum vitae.  A submission for an EOI conveys consent for the application to be provided to a selection panel for their consideration.
