Water Polo WA are currently recruiting for the position of Development Coordinator. The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and growth of the sport including participation, school engagement, player pathways, coach, referee, and official’s development.
Pursuant to its Constitution, Water Polo WA is seeking highly qualified individuals with a passion for Water Polo to join its board.
At the Water Polo WA AGM scheduled to be held on Saturday 31 October, elections will be held for 5 of the 8 elected director positions. Due to the resignation of 1 elected Board Member in July 2020, the number of elected positions available has increased by one (1).
If you believe you have the skills, drive, and leadership to contribute to the water polo in Western Australia, we invite you to submit an application.
The Women in Leadership Targets set by the State Government in 2018, require State Sporting Associations to ensure their boards have at least 50% of its positions filled by women by June 2022. Accordingly, women with the appropriate skills are encouraged to apply.
Applications must be submitted using the prescribed form, signed by a current member club or association.

As per the WPWAI Nominations Committee Charter, applications are collated and forwarded to the Nominations Committee. The committee’s responsibilities are to determine that an appropriate and transparent process is in place for the effective succession planning and renewal for Board positions.
Elections for the 5 positions will be held at the Water Polo WA Annual General Meeting on Saturday 31 October 2020.
