WPWAI Master’s State Championship

Posted by:

The State’s leading masters water polo players will converge on Bunbury in June for the inaugural Western Australian championships.

The tournament will be played on June 9-11 at the South West Aquatic Centre and is expected to attract at least 12 teams in three divisions — women 40+, men 50+ and possibly a 50+ mixed competition. It will be a grand farewell for those travelling to Budapest, Hungary in August for this year’s world championships, including the 70 years plus Perth Cockatoos men, who won bronze two years ago, and the world champion Pink Pointers women.

Team entries must be submitted to bunburywaterpolo@hotmail.com by the 15th of April.
