State finals and end of season excitement are approaching. WPWAI has been successful in the past two years in delivering live streaming of our SunSmart WPWAI Junior Grand Final day and we are endeavoring to cover it on 2nd April again. Our goal is to raise $7,500 so we can rejuvenate the event, and to accomplish this we need your support!
The live streaming, developed in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), is in response to feedback from WPWAI members and people within the Western Australian water polo community. We hope that this initiative provides a better experience for our members and accelerates the growth of water polo in WA. By making a donation through the ASF’s WPWAI Grand Final Live Streaming fund you contribute to bring water polo to people’s living rooms. This initiative allows family and friends to watch the games if they cannot attend and players to re-live the moments by watching the game later on via YouTube.
Donations for the WPWAI Grand Final Live Streaming fund can be now made by clicking on the button below. All donations are tax-deductible through ASF and personal donations are also gratefully received. All money raised will fund the live streaming of games.
Fundraising for hosting the WPWAI State Masters Championship has also started. The tournament will take place in Bunbury and will run from 9th till 11th of June. As one of WPWAI’s main goals, the event aims to include masters into the whole of sport picture and support an environment which continues to encourage participation and health outcomes. Tax deductible donations for this project can now be sent through this link.
Furthermore, donations, made to the general fund of WPWAI will be used for projects that contribute to the development of water polo in WA. For more details visit the Water Polo WA Foundation page.
