Call for EOI – WA State Teams Coaches

Water Polo Western Australia is pleased to announce that teams will be entered in the National Championships being held in Adelaide, 20 – 24 May 2020.

Teams are Under 16’s (16/U – Born 2004 and younger) and Under 19’s (19/U – Born 2001 and younger), both male and female.

We are seeking expression of interests from coaches to lead respective teams preceding and during the event.

The successful applicant must have the following accreditations and experience:

OVO AWL Round 3 Preview – WA Teams

THE West Australian teams in the OVO Australian Water Polo League hit the road for the first time in 2020 this week with Fremantle and UWA Torpedoes taking on both the Hunter Hurricanes and Queensland Thunder.

After both the Fremantle and UWA teams had the bye in Round 1 of the 2020 OVO AWL season, they got their campaigns underway in Round 2 on Friday night at Bicton Pool in Western Derby contests.

OVO AWL Round 2 Recap – WA Teams

THE two West Australian teams in the OVO Australian Water Polo League opened their 2020 seasons on Friday night in a Western Derby at Bicton Pool with two victories for Fremantle against the UWA Torpedoes.

While the 2020 OVO AWL season began a week earlier, both WA teams had the opening round bye setting the stage for a Western Derby opener to their campaigns at Bicton Pool on Friday night.
