THE Melville Marlins and Applecross came away with strong victories on Saturday in the Women’s A-Grade competition with both games held at Bicton Pool.

The two games in Round 8 of the Women’s A-Grade competition were both held at Bicton Pool with the Melville Marlins beating UWA City Beach 7-5 and Applecross defeating Triton 13-6.

The 20&U provides the ideal environment to prepare aspiring athletes looking to extend their representative honours with the Aussie Stingers (senior team) and also who have aspirations for the Olympics.

ROUND 7 in the Women’s A-Grade competition saw the two matches take place on Saturday afternoon with the Melville Marlins and UWA City Beach continuing their winning ways.

The two games of the Round 7 Women’s A-Grade competition took place on Saturday afternoon featuring the four competing teams.

The first game took place at Beatty Park and that saw the Melville Marlins prevail over Triton 13-5.

ROUND 6 in the Men’s A-Grade competition took place across Bicton Pool and Beatty Park on Saturday with South Fremantle Bloods and Port Colts winning in the Fremantle Conference, and UWA Flotsam and UWA City Beach winning the UWA Conference matches.
