THERE were another two games in the Women’s A-Grade competition on Saturday with wins for the Melville Marlins and Applecross.
The Round 11 Women’s A-Grade action saw the Melville Marlins defeat UWA City Beach 31-1 at Bicton Pool while Applecross beat Triton 14-8 at Beatty Park.
Those results leave it a tight race in the Women’s A-Grade competition following 11 rounds.

SATURDAY’S Round 9 action in the Men’s A-Grade competition saw Fremantle Conference wins for the Port Colts and South Fremantle Bloods while Triton and UWA Flotsam drew in the UWA Conference and UWA City Beach beat UWA Rangers.

WHILE the Fremantle Marlins and Mariners had the week off after first up wins in Adelaide, the UWA Torpedoes embarked on their annual six-game, six-day tour of Sydney in Round 2 of the 2019 OVO Australian Water Polo League season.
