THE final round of the Women’s Premier League took place last Saturday in the Fremantle and UWA Conferences with strong victories for Applecross, the North Coast Phoenix and Triton.

There is still one round of Cross Conference fixtures to go in the 2017-18 season before the finals in March, but the last of the games in the Fremantle and UWA Conference took place last Saturday.

BOTH the UWA Torpedoes and Fremantle teams in the OVO Australian Water Polo League spent Round 3 of the 2018 season with six games in six days in NSW leading into this Friday’s second Western Derby of the campaign at UWA Aquatic Centre.

The Torpedoes and Fremantle Marlins and Mariners did battle to open the 2018 AWL season at Bicton Pool with both home teams winning on that occasion.

2018 National 16’s Boys Championships is coming to Perth… October 2018

Fremantle Marlins and Mariners begin AWL on winning note

THE 2018 Australian Water Polo League season began with the Fremantle Marlins and Mariners both defeating the UWA Torpedoes at Bicton Pool with both clubs now to embark on road trips in Round 3 of the competition.

The new-look AWL season for 2018 got underway on Saturday night at Bicton Pool with a Western Derby as the Torpedoes headed south to tackle the Fremantle Marlins and Mariners.
