THE 2019 edition of the OVO Australian Water Polo League is about to get underway with the Fremantle Mariners and Marlins starting this weekend in Adelaide before the UWA Torpedoes start the following week on a six-day, six-game NSW trip.

The 2019 OVO AWL season begins in the opening weekend of February and will run through to the start of May when the finals series will be held at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.

Men’s A-Grade– Round 7 Results

THE last round of Men’s A-Grade competition action before the break until February took place on Saturday with Fremantle Conference wins for the Melville Sharks and Port Colts, and in the UWA Conference for UWA Rangers and UWA Flotsam.

THE final Women’s A-Grade action for 2018 took place on Saturday with a match each at HBF Stadium and Bicton Pool with victories for UWA City Beach and Applecross.

The two games in Round 8 of the Women’s A-Grade competition were both held at Bicton Pool with the Melville Marlins beating UWA City Beach 7-5 and Applecross defeating Triton 13-6.
