2019 A-grade Grand Final Awards

The 2019 A Garde Men’s and Women’s Grand Finals took place at Bicton Pool on 14th of December. Its was great to see such high standard finals with all players giving it their best. Well done to all participating teams and a special mention to the winners.

MENS

MWPC South Freo Bloods 13 defeated UWA City Beach 8

Tom Hoad Award (player of the GF) was given to Cody Smith from MWPC South Fremantle Bloods, presented by Tom Hoad.

The 2019 A-grade season fairest and best player was Nick Hughes from UWA Foltsam.

WOMEN

Melville Marlins 15 defeated Triton 5

Gergely Kiss 3-times Hungarian Olympic Champion presented the medals to the girls after the Final game.
Erin Redbond, captain of the A Grade Women’s team, Melville Marlins, with Gergely Kiss.
Andy Meloncelli Award (player of the Grand Final) was Glencora McGhie from Melville Marlins.
The 2019 season Fairest and best is Jamie Oberman from Triton.
