THE third instalment of Cross Conference action in the Men’s A-Grade competition took place on Saturday with the Port Colts, Dolphins, South Fremantle Bloods and Melville Sharks all winning making it a terrific day for Fremantle.
All four of the Cross Conference match ups were won by the teams representing the Fremantle Conference.
The games taking place at HBF Stadium saw the Port Colts beat UWA Flotsam 19-7 and then Dolphins defeated UWA Rangers 8-7.
And then at Bicton Pool, the South Fremantle Bloods beat Triton 11-3 and Melville Sharks prevailed 18-5 over UWA City Beach.
The dominant day for Fremantle began at Bicton Pool with the Bloods taking on Triton.
The Bloods went on to win 11-3 with Michael Brown, Scott Chrystal and Alex Gunnell all scoring two goals for South Fremantle while Josh Reaper scored twice for Triton.
Luke Quinlivan received three votes for his performance in The Cage for Triton with two votes going to Brown and one to Petar Tomasevic.
Then also at Bicton Pool, the Melville Sharks would prove too good for UWA City Beach, winning 18-5.
Joel Swift scored seven goals for Melville, Harry Bruce four, James Fannon four and Adam Richardson three. Lachie Emanuel and Ollie Sheldrick scored three goals each for UWA City Beach.
Swift received the three votes, Fannon two and Emanuel one.
Then at HBF Stadium, it was a tight battle between UWA Rangers and Dolphins, with Dolphins prevailing 8-7 on the back of scoring the only two goals of the fourth quarter.
Nikita Tzvetanov and Jeremy Carbone scored three goals each for Dolphins and Harry Paterson two. Scott Lilleyman scored four goals for UWA Rangers.
Paterson received the three votes, Lilleyman two and Marko Draksimovic one.
The final game of the Cross Conference round was also at HBF Stadium with Port Colts defeating UWA Flotsam 19-7.
Tom Prior nailed seven goals for Port Colts with Lachlan Benetti adding four goals, Davis Verboon three and Clancy Neesham two. Drew Lilleyman scored four times for UWA Flotsam.
Davis Verboon received the three votes, Prior two and Lilleyman one.
