Posted by:

THE Men’s A-Grade competition for the 2018-19 season took a break over the second half of December and through January after an eventful opening nine rounds with the action now set to resume on Saturday February 2 as the race for finals heats up.

The Men’s A-Grade competition was broken up into the Fremantle and UWA Conferences for the 2018-19 season.

Port Colts, South Fremantle Bloods, Melville Sharks and Dolphins are the four teams in the Fremantle Conference and UWA Flotsam, Triton, UWA City Beach and UWA Rangers make up the sides in the UWA Conference.

The breakdown of the season has been for there to be three straight rounds where the teams play one another from their own conference before a round of Cross Conference action.

It’s then back to playing teams in your own conference once more each before you battle a team from the rival conference. It creates for some exciting and fascinating water polo action and things are set up nicely right across both conferences at the mid-season break.
